Absolum, the new roguelite beat 'em up from Dotemu, is now available

This week marks the release of the new game by Dotemu, the publisher behind Wonder Boy, Metal Slug Tactics, and NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound. Today October 9, 2025, Absolum releases on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.

This is a roguelite beat 'em up set in the original world of Talamh, which has been ravaged by a cataclysm, and several heroes are attempting to save it. The combat system requires skill, coordination, and strategy, with rapid combos and spells.

The game can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend, and you can combine powers and synchronize attacks to perform increasingly impressive combos.

Absolum is priced at $24.99.
