It has been a busy week for Microsoft. The American manufacturer has revamped Xbox Game Pass tiers with significant price increases. But the multinational could well have another surprise in store...
According to journalist Tom Warren of The Verge, Microsoft is testing a free, ad-supported model for Xbox Cloud Gaming. This plan would include two minutes of advertising before the game launches via the cloud. The company is also testing a limit of one hour per session and up to five free hours per month. These limitations could, of course, change before the service is rolled out.
This free subscription would be available on PC, Xbox, mobile devices, and web browsers. A public beta test could be held soon.
