Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is still in development

Despite being announced in September 2021, the remake of Bioware’s legendary action RPG has been a no show in what have been two long years. This is due to a chaotic development process that has no doubt made an impact in this ambitious project release date.

Even though at first Aspyr was responsible for the game’s development, it quickly ended up changing hands to Saber Interactive, who are now tasked with completing the title’s production.

According to rumors, this change may have been a painful one, with many speculating that the game had been canceled altogether. Nevertheless, Embracer has reassured fans that the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is still in development, even though it shouldn’t be expected to come out in the near future.
