The survival and climbing game Cairn has been delayed to the first quarter of 2026

The Game Bakers, the French studio behind Furi and Haven, has announced some bad news for those eagerly awaiting Cairn. The survival and climbing title was due to be released on November 5, 2025.

However, the company has now confirmed that its launch has been postponed until the first quarter of 2026. The game is currently complete, and these additional months of development will allow for further optimization. Bugs will also be fixed.

To tide players over, the demo already available will receive a new feature via an update rolling out on October 13 on PS5 and PC. Players will then be able to encounter the ghosts of other players and climb alongside them.
