Ghost of Yōtei, the new game by Sucker Punch, gets rave reviews

At long last, the verdict is in for Ghost of Yōtei! The sequel to Ghost of Tsushima will be released on October 2, exclusively on PS5. Today, the specialist press published its reviews, which are nothing short of great.
On Metacritic, Ghost of Yōtei currently has an average rating of 87% (based on 105 reviews). OpenCritic, meanwhile, gives it a score of 89% based on 56 reviews at the time of writing.
Like its predecessor, Ghost of Yōtei is acclaimed for its sumptuous vistas, its magnificent and varied open world, and its solid length, estimated at over 50 hours to complete. The DualSense is put to good use, the adventure has a good pace, and there are a few new additions to the gameplay.
However, the writing is a little lackluster, the combat can be messy at times, and it recycles far too many elements from Ghost of Tsushima.
