The Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 has been delayed to an unknown date

Even if it was scheduled for October 3, 2025, the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 has been delayed by Gearbox Software. What's more, there's no new release date currently.

On social media, the studio simply says it is committed to delivering "the best possible experience" by adding features such as cross-save. All pre-orders placed via the eShop will be automatically canceled as of September 26.

Gearbox is asking those who pre-ordered a physical edition to contact their retailer for a refund.
