The PS5 update that lets DualSenses be paired with multiple devices will be available on September 17

Announced last June, the PS5 system update that will allow DualSense controllers to be paired with multiple devices will debut this week.

Sony has confirmed that the patch will begin rolling out on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. To install the update, users will need to go to Settings > System > System Software > System Software Settings and Update.

This will let you pair a DualSense controller with different devices at the same time, such as PS5s, PCs, Macs, and other mobile devices.
