Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 will feature some visual improvements
, by Thibaut
Back in September 2020, Nintendo released the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection on Switch as part of Mario's 35th anniversary. It featured three titles, including Super Mario Galaxy. The latter will return on October 2, 2025, once again on Switch via the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection.
Thanks to a video produced by the GVG channel on YouTube, we can see some fairly minor visual differences between these two versions of Super Mario Galaxy. In particular, the textures have been improved for the ground. On Switch 2, the game should also benefit from 4K resolution. Of course, we are still a long way from a true graphical overhaul.
On Switch 2, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 will take advantage of mouse controls. New features will also make the games more accessible, and the original soundtracks can be listened to at any time.
Remember that each game will be sold separately for €39.99 or together for €69.99 (in physical and digital formats).
