Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is the most expensive game in Naughty Dog's history

Neil Druckmann stopped by Variety to talk about his various projects. Of course, there was a particular focus on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. We got several new details about the title out of it.

First, Druckmann stated that Intergalactic will be the most expensive game in the studio's history. As for the cast, several well-known actors will join Tatiana Gabrielle, who plays the protagonist Jordan Mun. Troy Baker, known for his roles as Sam Drake in Uncharted 4 and Joel in The Last of Us games, will also be involved. Tony Dalton, who plays Javier Miller in the HBO series The Last of Us, will also be part of the cast.

In addition, Hollywood has already approached the PlayStation teams to adapt Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet for the big screen. Neil Druckmann made it clear that Naughty Dog's current goal is to first create "a fantastic game". Finally, the gameplay will be similar to that of Uncharted and The Last of Us, with some additional elements. The science fiction aspect will be very prominent.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet does not have a release date yet.
