Nintendo has a team that investigates leaks

Nintendo doesn't mess around when it comes to leaks. Often, when an insider or content creator leaks information that turns out to be accurate, internet users joke that the Nintendo ninjas will come after them. And this isn't just a myth!
In a recent video on the Kit & Krysta channel, two former employees of the Japanese manufacturer confirmed that a team is responsible for tracking down the source of leaks.
"We joke around the Nintendo Ninjas. Like this is actual employees at the company that that is their job to investigate leaks. They is a team at Nintendo that gets paid to do this and they are very elite. They are very good at their jobs."
Kit goes further by saying that they will solve every case.
"And they will solve these cases. The case will get solved... It might take a week, it might take a year, they will solve it.”
