The health bar could be back for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Back in 2020, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War allowed players to see their enemies' health bars. This was a useful feature, but it could be a little intrusive on the interface of a game that requires sharp reflexes.

For the first time in five years, this feature could return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Matt Scronce, who is responsible for the game's design, has revealed that his teams are currently testing the option in multiplayer mode.

"We're currently testing health bars in MP and hope to have them in the beta along with a setting to disable. Looking forward to feedback on them!"

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14, 2025.
