Sucker Punch is definitely no longer interested in working on a new Sly Cooper

Before Ghost of Tsushima or even the inFamous franchise, Sucker Punch spent the PS2 era working on the Sly Cooper license. This platformers IP follows a raccoon burglar and his teammates.

Since the release of Sly Cooper: Thief of Time in 2013 (developed by Sanzaru Games), the series has remained forgotten. And it's unlikely that Sucker Punch will ever bring it back.

In an interview with MinnMax, Nate Fox, creative director of Ghost of Yotei, said that only 10% of the studio's current staff would be interested in a new Sly game. He explained that "it's been a long time since Sly Cooper came out" and that his teams have moved on to other projects.
