2K confirms the development of a college basketball experience

Although we already knew this thanks to all the heavy teasing, 2K Sports has officially confirmed its work in the field of college basketball via a statement published on social media.

In the message, the American publisher states that it is working on "a college basketball experience" with "big plans" for 2027 and beyond. 2K even promises a few surprises in early 2026.

This famous experience will cover more than 100 programs across the United States. By "experience", we can assume that the company is referring to either DLC for NBA 2K or a new game mode.

For its part, EA Sports has decided to abandon its project around college basketball.
