Star Wars Outlaws is one of the best ports for Switch 2

Today September 4, 2025, Massive Entertainment is releasing the Switch 2 version of Star Wars Outlaws. This port had us fearing the worst, as the game is very resource-intensive even on more powerful platforms.

In the end, it seems that Ubisoft's title has come out with flying colors. According to an analysis by the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits, Star Wars Outlaws is one of the best ports for a recent game on Switch 2. Its 30 fps frame rate is consistent and sometimes even more stable than the Xbox Series S version.

Of course, several concessions have obviously been made in terms of graphics, the number of NPCs on screen, the quality of textures, and the level of detail in certain sequences. But overall, Star Wars Outlaws does not present any major graphical differences compared to other versions.

Among the real flaws, we can note loading times that are twice as long as on Xbox Series S and a few rare drops in frame rate. Remember that Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition is available for $59.99 on Switch 2. Both story expansions are included.
