The FPS franchise created by 4A Games has now gained international recognition, thanks in large part to its latest installment titled Metro Exodus. Released in 2019, this game achieved tremendous commercial success, with Embracer Group announcing that they have sold 8.5 million copies worldwide. In total, the third installment has even surpassed 10 million players.
This is a remarkable achievement for a franchise inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky's book. However, the journey is far from over! In fact, a fourth installment is currently in development. In February of last year, it was revealed that the game was already fully playable and a release in 2024 could be possible.
