Rogue Factor's Hell is Us gets good reviews

The reviews for Hell is Us are in! The third-person action-adventure game from Rogue Factor will be released on September 4, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. With that being said, owners of the Deluxe Edition will get to play starting today, September 1.

So far, the title published by Nacon has received positive reviews, with an average score of 82% on OpenCritic (26 reviews). The average score is 79% on Metacritic for the PS5 version (32 reviews) and 81% on PC (16 reviews), and 77% on Xbox Series (9 reviews).

Hell is Us has an excellent atmosphere, well-designed combat, a high-quality soundtrack, and masterful technical execution. The game also offers variety in its play areas, and its artistic direction is a real strong point.

As for its flaws, we can point to an uninspired bestiary, stiff movement, puzzles that aren't always exciting, and confusing progression.
