NVIDIA confirms the Rubin architecture for 2026

During its second quarter 2025 earnings announcement, NVIDIA confirmed that its next Rubin platform is already in production at TSMC.

It includes six chips, with the Rubin GPU, Vera CPU, and a CX9 SuperNIC. The release date is set for the second half of 2026.

Rubin will represent the third generation of NVIDIA's NVLink supercomputers, with a supply chain considered to be "large scale".

The company expects Blackwell, Rubin, and their successors to support an AI market estimated to be worth between $3 trillion and $4 trillion by the end of the decade.

At the same time, NVIDIA posted record gaming revenue of $4.3 billion, up 49% year-on-year, driven by the rise of the RTX 50 Blackwell.
