Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to Game Pass Standard and Core
, by Thibaut
Up until now, the ability to play Xbox games via the cloud was reserved for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers (at $17.99 per month). Starting now, Xbox Insiders program users will have simplified access to this feature.
People with an active Game Pass Core or Game Pass Standard subscription now have access to Xbox Cloud Gaming, which means that it is no longer available only to Game Pass Ultimate members.
In addition, Game Pass Core and Game Pass Standard players will have access to a selection of PC games for the first time, which they can play on their computer or via a Windows portable console.
For now, these new features are reserved for Xbox Insiders members, but they should be available to everyone in the near future.
