Atari has acquired five licenses from Ubisoft
, by Thibaut
As part of a strategic intellectual property agreement, Ubisoft has sold the rights to five of its licenses. Of course, we're not talking about major franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, or Prince of Persia.
Rather, we are referring to some less-known licenses that Ubisoft abandoned several years ago. So far, Atari has acquired Cold Fear (2005), I am Alive (2012), Child of Light (2011), Grow Home (2015), and Grown Up (2016).
Atari has announced that it intends to bring back these franchises "by adapting them to new platforms and renewed publishing frameworks."
