In a press release, iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations and INDYCAR announced the signing of a long-term licensing agreement that will allow iRacing Studios to develop INDYCAR video games.
The first title has been officially announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC for the second half of 2026. It will be the first INDYCAR game in over two decades and will, of course, be officially licensed.
Tony Gardner, president of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, made a brief statement on the matter.
"INDYCAR fans have long been clamoring for a standalone title for consoles, and we’re excited to give them what they’re looking for in 2026. iRacing Studios’ standalone INDYCAR title will offer all the excitement of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and an immersive experience that fans of all ages can enjoy. We are already very excited about how the game is coming together."
