Baby Steps has been delayed to September 23 (due to Hollow Knight: Silksong)

Just like GTA VI when it comes to AAA games, Hollow Knight: Silksong is seen as a threat to be avoided in the indie scene. So much so, that some studios have chosen to postpone their production to avoid going up against Team Cherry's game, which is expected to be released on September 4.
After Demonschool, it's now Baby Steps' turn to see its launch date slip from September 8 to September 23, 2025. The teaser dedicated to this announcement clearly shows that Silksong is responsible for this change. All with a touch of humor!
