A leak details AMD and Intel's roadmap through 2027
, by Quentin
A document shared by leaker @momomo_us provides a glimpse into the next generations of AMD and Intel laptop processors.
On the AMD side, the roadmap suggests few changes in the short term: Strix Point and Gorgon Point will remain on Zen 5 with the same configurations as the current ones.
The real evolution will come in 2027 with the arrival of Gator Range and Medusa Point, two ranges based on Zen 6 engraved in 3 nm and intended for the FP10 socket. Gator Range will replace Fire Range at the high end, while Medusa Point will succeed Strix Point/Gorgon Point. No direct successor to Strix Halo is listed.
The same document also covers Intel's plans for 2025-2026, confirming Arrow Lake and Panther Lake, as well as more accessible ranges such as Wildcat Lake.
