The Gamescom 2025 leaves some impressive figures for both the fair and the Opening Night Live

While there was inevitably some debate about its quality, the Opening Night Live for Gamescom 2025 attracted a large audience. Producer Geoff Keighley has now revealed the figures for this year's event.
The ceremony totaled more than 72 million views across YouTube, Twitch, and social media. This represents an 80% increase over last year. In addition, more than 357,000 people attended Gamescom this year. There were 335,000 in 2024.
Finally, Gamescom 2026 will take place from August 26 to 30, 2026, in Cologne.
