Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater runs worse on PS5 Pro than on the base PS5

The YouTube channel Digital Foundry has given its verdict on the technical aspects of Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater. This video focuses on the game's performance on Sony consoles.
Firstly, it should be noted that the game runs at between 1920 × 1080 and 1280 × 720 at 60 FPS in “Performance” mode on PS5. In “Quality” mode, the game runs between 2816 × 1584 and 1920 × 1080 at 30 FPS. This mode allows for a better viewing distance on small objects (foliage, grass, stones, etc.) and reduces the sudden appearance of certain elements.
On PS5 Pro, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 runs at a resolution between 2048 × 1152 and 1344 × 756 at 60 frames per second. Unfortunately, Digital Foundry has noted serious framerate issues on Sony's most powerful machine. In Performance mode on the same scene, the PS5 version reaches 58 FPS, while the PS5 Pro version hovers around 51 FPS. Thus, in some cases, the base console offers a higher frame rate.
Add to that the fact that distant objects are displayed in greater detail on PS5, still in Performance mode, compared to PS5 Pro. There is no doubt that the game is in dire need of a few fixes.
