Insomniac Games confirms that there will be no cooperative mode in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

It will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of the upcoming PlayStation Showcase. This Wednesday, May 24th, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will likely be extensively presented by Sony. It's worth mentioning that the game is expected to be released at the end of the year, specifically in September (according to rumors).

In the past few hours, a rumor started circulating on social media. It mentioned the possibility of playing cooperatively with another player and the presence of symbiotes throughout the map. While we don't know about the latter point, Insomniac Games wanted to clarify that there won't be a multiplayer mode.

In a tweet, the studio emphasized that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be an "epic single-player adventure." Therefore, cooperative play will not be available.
