Gigabyte has just announced the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX, an eGPU solution featuring the powerful RTX 5090 in an external enclosure connected via Thunderbolt 5.
The device combines AORUS WATERFORCE liquid cooling and 80 Gbps bandwidth to deliver desktop-level performance on a laptop.
Thunderbolt 5 connectivity not only provides graphics connectivity via PCIe Gen4x4, but also up to 100W of charging for laptops, transforming the eGPU into a complete workstation.
Gigabyte has announced when it will be available, but the first units appear to be reserved for the Oceania market for now, with no official price announced just yet.
