ASUS reveals the ROG Matrix RTX 5090 for its 30th anniversary, with just 1,000 units available

To mark its 30th anniversary in the graphics card industry, ASUS unveiled the ROG Matrix RTX 5090 30th Anniversary Edition at Gamescom.

This special model features a hybrid power supply (12V-2×6 and GC-HPWR), capable of delivering up to 800 W, compared to 575–600 W for conventional models. Cooling is provided by a four-fan system, combined with a patented vapor chamber, liquid metal, and copper.

Based on the Blackwell architecture, the card features 21,760 CUDA cores and 32 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512-bit bus, with a boost frequency of 2730 MHz in 800 W mode, offering approximately 10% more performance than the reference model.

ASUS specifies that this is a limited edition of 1,000 units, distributed in particular through a competition organized during Gamescom.
