Spoilers! Resident Evil Requiem could end up featuring three playable characters

Capcom will reveal more on Resident Evil Requiem at Gamescom next week. For now, only Grace Ashcroft has been presented as a playable character in this ninth installment.

Insider Dusk Golem has also revealed that this title will be the last in which Leon Kennedy plays a major role. So far, we have two playable characters expected, but there's another surprise in store.

According to Dusk Golem, Alyssa Ashcroft, Grace's mother, will also be playable. However, the phases featuring the journalist introduced in Resident Evil Outbreak will be rarer than those featuring the other two heroes. In the Resident Evil Requiem storyline, Alyssa Ashcroft has died and her daughter is trying to come to terms with her loss by investigating her death.
