Wuchang: Fallen Feathers welcomes the controversial 1.5 update

This week, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers received got the 1.5 update on all platforms. This was supposed to be good news, fixing bugs, crashes, and performance issues.

However, the patch in question makes changes to the very core of the game; and this hasn't been to the taste of many players. The patch description mentions the addition of "dialogs for some NPCs to complete some plots. We will further optimize the exhaustion animations in the future to improve the plot performance."

In fact, once defeated, some bosses no longer die, but instead enter the aforementioned exhaustion animation. Some lines of dialogue have also been changed, in turn altering the storyline. In addition, enemies no longer attack our character, making certain sections extremely easy. This is particularly the case in one specific chapter, known for its difficulty, which has become almost child's play according to internet users.

On the official subreddit for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, moderators have even deleted comments criticizing patch 1.5.
