GTA VI will feature multiple editions, a fair place, and its release date is confirmed

Although Grand Theft Auto VI is set to be released in less than a year, we still don't know plenty of things about this installment. During the company's financial results presentation, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, provided some new insights.
In a lengthy statement, he expressed his desire to charge players a "fair price", even if it does not reflect the game's true value. He also hinted that several editions will be released. Finally, Zelnick reiterated that GTA VI will indeed be released on May 26, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series.
"Our goal always is to deliver more value than what we charge, so we’ve had variable pricing at the company forever. As you know, the approach of the industry is to launch at a premium price, sometimes with special editions, and over time, typically to reduce the price to enhance the overall size of the market. We do the very same thing. I think, probably more than most, we’re highly focused on making sure that the experience is great, not just because the game itself is great, but also because consumers have paid a fair price for it."
