XFX confirms the release of the Radeon AI PRO R9700 for pre-built PCs
, by Quentin
XFX has officially announced the upcoming release of its Radeon AI PRO R9700 graphics card, based on the Navi 48 GPU, but only with pre-built PC.
The card, which was already mentioned at Computex, is still unavailable in traditional retail outlets and has no release date or retail price. Despite AMD's promises regarding availability for the DIY market, nothing has been officially announced on the matter just yet.
The R9700, which was expected to be an RX 9070 XT 32 GB with custom cooling, doesn't follow the usual standards. Its unclear positioning and blower cooling confirm its limited and targeted availability.
