AMD has made the Radeon RX 9060 with 8 GB official
, by Quentin
AMD has announced the Radeon RX 9060, a lighter version of the RX 9060 XT. It's based on the same Navi 44 GPU, though it features 1,792 stream processors, which is 12.5% less than the XT model.
The card has 8 GB of GDDR6 at 18 Gbps, so approximately 10% less bandwidth.
Designed for 1080p gaming, it delivers 108 FPS on Assassin's Creed Mirage and 153 FPS on DOOM Eternal, for example.
AMD has thus corrected the incorrect specifications initially communicated to certain partners. The downside is that this graphics card is only expected to be available on pre-built PCs.
We have no further information on its release date or price at this time.
