EA has reportedly censored the ARC Raiders name from its chat system

Users have noticed that any mention of the game ARC Raiders in EA's chat is automatically replaced by hashtags, while other competing titles such as Call of Duty and Fortnite are displayed normally.

This block could be linked to Patrick Söderlund, a former EA executive and now CEO of Embark Studios, the studio behind ARC Raiders. The game is scheduled for release in October and had quite a lot of hype during its beta in April. For now, EA has not commented on the matter.
