Yuke's (WWE 2K) has acquired Aquaplus, a company specializing in visual novels

Yuke's is a Japanese development studio founded in 1993 and known for its work on the WWE 2K franchise until 2018. The company also owns 54% of the New Japan Pro Wrestling league.
This week, Yuke's officially announced the acquisition of Aquaplus, the company responsible for the To Heart and Utawarerumono franchises, among others. The acquisition, which includes the subsidiary FIXRECORDS, will be finalized in September and amounts to 783.52 million yen (approximately 4.6 million euros).
