During the Japanese stream of the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Square Enix made a small announcement about Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
The remaster will get an upgrade on Switch 2 today, July 31. Owners of the Switch version will be able to download it at no additional cost. The upgrade brings "graphical improvements that make the game run sharper and smoother".
On Switch 2, the game also features "additional options that allow players to prioritize frame rate or graphics". The content is still the same.
