Kojima says he won't play the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake
, by Thibaut
The famous Hideo Kojima hasn't been exactly tongue-tied since the release of Death Stranding 2. During his interview with SSENSE, the Japanese creator was asked about quite an inevitable topic.
During his career at Konami, Kojima devoted himself body and soul to the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Unfortunately, things ended badly, and the franchise's director left the Japanese publisher in October 2015. This also led to the cancellation of Silent Hills (P.T.).
During his years at Konami, Hideo Kojima made a lasting impression with his exceptional games. For many, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (released in November 2004) remains his best game yet. And it just so happens that a remake of this entry will be released on August 28.
So, Kojima couldn't avoid the question of whether he would try Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. He was pretty direct in his answer. After laughing, he simply said, "no".
It'll be interesting to see if Hideo Kojima's name will appear in the remake.
