The Xbox July update lets you stream games directly to PC
, by Thibaut
After coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series, you can now stream games you own to through the Xbox app for PC.
This has been added as part of the July update, and there are over 250 compatible games at launch. Of course, you need to be subbed to Game Pass Ultimate to take advantage of this feature. This let's you save storage space, since these don't need to be installed, and time, given that you don't need to download them.
What's more, Xbox Insiders who also have a Game Pass Ultimate sub can access all cloud-playable games from their library in the Xbox PC app. This includes console-only titles from the first Xbox to the Xbox Series. These same members are also able to preview their game history across multiple devices.
Last but not least, the Xbox PC application now includes a feature that tracks our progress on rewards earned through play.
