After six and a half years, Friday The 13th: The Game was withdrawn from sale in December 2023. However, the license will be making a comeback on consoles and PCs.
At San Diego Comic-Con, which ends this Sunday, July 27, Robbie Barsamian, vice president of Horror Inc, revealed that a new Friday the 13th video game is in the early stages of development.
"I can tell you that a new sequel movie and new sequel game are at the top of our list. It’s where most of our energy’s going right now. And I can tell you finally we’re in a position to deliver on that."
"While we’re not officially announcing with our partners today, both are coming. They’re both in the works and they’re both coming."
