GPD will present the WIN 5 on August 1 at ChinaJoy 2025. This new model will be the first portable console to feature AMD's Ryzen AI MAX 395+ Strix Halo APU.
The design is reminiscent of the WIN 4, with a compact form factor. An initial demonstration shows the machine running Black Myth: Wukong at over 210 FPS, although technical details have not been specified.
The inclusion of the Radeon 8060S GPU is a first for this type of device. We don't know its price yet, but it is expected to be higher than that of the previous model equipped with the HX 370, currently selling for around $1,370.
