Mortal Kombat 1 : the official announcement should come this week

The existence of Mortal Kombat 1 is no longer a secret at all. We now know that it will not be the twelfth installment but rather a reboot of the saga. Several famous characters such as Homelander from The Boys, Peacemaker from DC, or even Conan the Barbarian could make an appearance through DLC.

The program looks very enticing, and after several days of teasing, the first official information is about to drop. Ed Boon, the Chief Creative Officer of Mortal Kombat and NetherRealm Studios, stated in a tweet that "this week should be fun." We can reasonably expect a proper announcement in a handful of days.
