Borderlands 4 is coming to Switch on October 3, 2025... but will only run at 30 FPS

It's worth noting that Borderlands 4 will be released on September 12 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. However, the Switch 2 version had no date up until now.

This has just changed, because Randy Pitchford has announced on X that Nintendo's console will get the fourth entry as early as October 3. He also stated that since Borderlands 4 is a big game, the physical edition will require a download.

Pitchford also stated that the game will run "mainly at around 30 frames per second, with a few drops during intense moments". Finally, the title will support Joy-Con mouse gameplay.
