This year, the Metro saga celebrates its 15th anniversary. Although 4A Games has already confirmed that it is working on a new entry, it has yet to be shown. But it may not be too much longer...

Lovers of the license believe that this Metro 4 will possibly be presented at Gamescom, to be held from August 20 to 24, 2025. The Gamescom Opening Night Live ceremony, to be broadcast on August 19, could be the scene of this official announcement.

This theory is supported by fans due to the high level of activity observed on Metro's social networks. Indeed, a community manager was hired on July 10 to relaunch the saga's accounts. While the last message was dated February 27, 2025, many posts and other responses have been published since the hiring. The community manager is also quick to respond with a sense of humor to Internet users seeking information about the next Metro.The presentation of the next Metro shouldn't be far off.
