CD Projekt is undergoing layoffs within the studio responsible for the game The Witcher "Project Sirius."

Several games set in the universe of The Witcher saga are currently in development at CD Projekt RED and beyond. The Polish studio has notably enlisted the services of The Molasses Flood, an American company behind Flame in the Flood. They are working on an episode internally referred to as Project Sirius, which will feature both single-player and multiplayer modes.

However, production seems to be challenging, and changes have already been made along the way. This week, a spokesperson for CD Projekt stated, "Since the project has changed, the composition of the team working on it has also been modified, primarily on The Molasses Flood's side."

As a result, 21 people based in the studio in the United States have been laid off. Eight others have also lost their jobs in Poland.
