ASUS presents a $500,000 RTX 5090 ROG Astral in solid gold
, by Quentin
ASUS has announced a unique version of the RTX 5090 ROG Astral called the Real Gold Edition, entirely covered in gold, at Bilibili World 2025. Priced at $500,000, this is the most expensive graphics card ever designed, and it's not expected to be sold at all.
This version follows other already luxurious models, such as the standard ROG Astral at $3,300 or the ROG Astral Dhahab at around $10,000, which already incorporated 6.5 grams of real gold.
However, this card remains a showpiece. Unlike the tens of thousands of dollars worth of professional GPUs used in AI servers, ASUS is banking here on appearance and exclusivity.
