The entire French team at Starbreeze (Payday) has been made redundant

More bad news in today's ruthless video game industry. Starbreeze Studios, the company responsible for Payday, has laid off its entire French team.
On X, Justine Cannarella, a now former lead lighting artist on Payday and PUBG, announced that she had been made redundant. She declared that "this industry is rotten with capitalism. Passion, the desire to make good games, is secondary to all these investors..."
The 23 people who made up Starbreeze's French branch were dismissed. Some of the developers had been with the company for over 10 years.
