Warcraft Rumble will get no more updates
, by Thibaut
Warcraft Rumble has been available on iOS and Android since November 2023 and has reached the end.
Blizzard has also fallen prey to Microsoft's layoffs, and there won't be any more updates for Warcraft Rumble. Johana Faries, president of Blizzard, announced so in an internal email.
"As part of these changes, we have made the difficult decision to move to a scaled-down, live-only development phase for Warcraft Rumble, similar to our current approach for games such as StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm."
Faries also acknowledged that "team leaders recognized that initial development and design ambitions were not meeting expectations in terms of audience engagement and loyalty".
"Since its launch, Rumble has struggled to achieve the scale necessary to maintain its current form over the long term, despite the hard work of all team members and supporters of the game."
