The RTX 5050 8 GB comes close to RTX 4060 performance
, by Quentin
Inno3D has published the first tests of the RTX 5050 8GB, recently launched at $249. In synthetic benchmarks, the card is equivalent or slightly superior to the RTX 4060 in some tests (Steel Nomad, Port Royal, Fire Strike) but lags behind in others (Speed Way, Time Spy).
When it comes to games, the RTX 5050 outperforms the RTX 3060 by up to 18.5%, but remains slightly below the RTX 4060, except in Far Cry 6 where results are similar.
The model tested reaches 2.6 GHz, consumes 130 W and boasts temperatures of 65°C for the GPU and 66°C for the memory.
The RTX 4060 currently sells for between $299 and $329. At this price, the RTX 5060 or the RX 7600 XT are considered more attractive. The Intel Arc B580 (12 GB) and B570 (10 GB) are also positioned under the $250 mark.
