There's no remaster or remake of Sonic Adventures planned
, by Thibaut
In an interview with Shack News, Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka was asked about the possible return of Sonic Adventures. The two entries were released in 1998 and 2001 respectively.
Unfortunately, Iizuka has no intention of going back to the series at present. Instead, he wishes to explore new avenues.
"I really appreciate all those who love the Sonic Adventure series, but when I think of what it would take to bring this game up to the standards and expectations of modern audiences, I think it would take as much time and energy as it would to create a new title."
"So part of me is thinking that maybe I should create a whole new title, and that's why there are no plans at the moment."
