The publisher has abruptly fired several dozen people. The information was revealed in a tweet from Matthew Face, who held the position of Social Operations Manager at Ubisoft. He claims to have been dismissed without notice on Wednesday, May 10. About 60 other people are in the same situation.
The French company confirmed the information to Gamespot, specifying that its offices in Cary (North Carolina) and Newcastle (UK) are affected. According to Ubisoft, these are simple "organizational changes." This small restructuring is quite worrying as the multinational will soon announce its results from the last financial year.
