R.E.P.O. devs won't introduce microtransactions

Since its release (in early access) last February, R.E.P.O. has built up a strong community. This cooperative horror game for up to six players has managed to gather over 270,000 simultaneous players on Steam.

In a recent FAQ, the creators of R.E.P.O. were asked about the business model for their title. The aim was to find out whether loot boxes or a Battle Pass would be introduced in the near future. The answer from the main players involved was quite clear.

"No. You buy the game once, you have the game—no micro-transactions ever."

Free updates will also be available, such as public matchmaking and a server list function.
